There are times in each of our lives when we, our family, friends or co-workers struggle with behavioral health issues. Over the past four decades, your local Mental Health & Recovery Services Board has responded to community needs by establishing a system of care which provides “Help Close to Home.”
According to Ohio Law, the Board is responsible for seeing that public mental health and alcohol/drug recovery services are available to the residents of Coshocton, Guernsey, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble & Perry Counties. The Board of Directors is made up of 14 local volunteer citizens who are appointed by either the County Commissioners or the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services.
With many support groups, coalitions, and events it is easy to get involved with your local MHRS.
If you are a parent, professional, or somewhere in between we have a training program for you.
Find what you're looking for in our library of links, articles, and other MHRS resources.
Below are surveys for both Consumers and Stakeholders. Please consider filling out the appropriate survey so that the Muskingum MHRS may better serve you in the future.
